Agriculture in 1960, before we turned to oil, proved to be the most promising sector in Nigeria. In spite of the oil, agriculture remains the backbone of Nigeria’s economy in defiance of its undermined state. History shows that between 1962 and 1968, Nigeria profited immensely within the range of 60 to 70 percent from the export of crops which added value to the country’s economy. However, this sector faces a lot of challenges especially one of abandonment, research and poor maintenance. This untapped market today is fast experiencing a revolution you would want to be a part of.

The Green Revolution is a platform to help you take advantage of opportunities in the agriculture industry. We are giving latitude to people who are interested in revolutionizing the agriculture industry and at the same time learn the proficiency of this field.
UMeRA desires to provide a programme for Nigerians to make progress and increase the value chain in agriculture. Our mission is to productively engage youths while putting to profitable use the arable land that has been left unproductive. We also seek to set new trends in agriculture, make agriculture the new ‘’cool” alleviate poverty.
The Green Revolution is here to provide learning opportunities for young farmers while they earn. We will equip you with knowledge from the basics of agriculture to the ethics of its business and commerce, if necessary provide you with viable materials for development.
To build all these we are looking for young farmers with vision, tenacity, commitment and diligence to join us in executing this plan. We will be leasing the land for free!
